Cape Peninsula Motorcycle Tour With Retro And Custom Motorcycles – Australia
Welcome to the Wolf Moto Blog page.
‘Roll With The Pack’ and stay up to date with our recent custom bike builds and relevant media exposure as well as recent rider testimonials and photos from past Wolf Moto motorcycle tours around our beautiful city, Cape Town.
We would like to share our story from the most recent international visitors who came all the way from Australia to ride on a Peninsula motorcycle tour with Wolf Moto.
Retro And Custom Motorcycles had been paying close attention to our recent ride photos online and when an opportunity arose to send a member to Cape Town, Wolf Moto was their 1st stop in the Mother City.
After a brief introduction it was time to choose a bike. Nic, from Retro and Custom was immediately drawn to our custom Harley Davidson Sportster 883, bobber. Not sure if it was the orange and white colourway that grabbed his attention or the mere fact that he now had an open opportunity to ride a custom V-Twin bobber, either way, Nic was excited.
The rest of the crew opted to ride the available modern classic motorcycles, the Bonneville T100 and the Moto Guzzi V7 Special.
Day 1 started off with a mellow cruise out of the city and up to Signal Hill to take in the amazing 270º views of Cape Town the harbour and the Green Point stadium precinct.
From this vantage point we headed off towards lovely coastal views of Camps Bay and Clifton beaches, seen below.
Continuing our trip around the Cape Peninsula we rode out beneath the 12 Apostles Mountains seen in the distance in the above and on towards Hout Bay and the very famous stretch of motorcycling asphalt known as Chapmans Peak Drive.
Fortunately for the boys from Down Under, the weather was sublime as you can tell the images herein. After meeting the seals in Hout Bay harbour it was time to let the guys loose on Chapmans Peak Drive.
