TERMS & CONDITIONS
WOLF MOTO (PTY) Ltd.
These terms and conditions are applicable on all motorcycles booked with Wolf Moto (PTY) Ltd. 7 Barron Street, Cape Town, 7925, South Africa.
Terms and conditions are to be accepted in order to complete the motorcycle booking process. By agreeing to the Wolf Moto (PTY) Ltd. terms and conditions, means that you agree that any legal disputes will only, explicitly and exclusively fall under the jurisdiction of the South African court of law. The customer must comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and statutory regulations imposed by the Western Cape government and South Africa.
All riders must be in possession of a valid motorcycle driver’s license with a photo. If your license is not in English you will need to produce an international driver’s license. Licenses are to be produced prior to the handover of any motorcycle. All riders must be at least 25 years of age. Please make prior contact with us to arrange special consent for younger riders.
Motorcycle insurance cover is included in our motorcycle hire rates. A deposit will be required (held by means of a credit card authorization) on all rentals. Deposits will be refunded once the motorcycle has been inspected upon return.
The renter will be fully liable for any damage to the vehicle or third party vehicle in the following circumstances:
- Willful damage – any damage caused as a result of negligence. Willful damage includes but is not limited to:
- Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Driving on restricted roads or in restricted areas
- Damage to the clutch or gearbox due to incorrect use
- Seizing an engine due to low oil level or incorrect use of the vehicle
Please note that the insurance covers the motorcycle only and does not constitute personal travel insurance.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION FEES:
One working day after you have made a booking, you will receive a confirmation email and pro-forma invoice. To secure your booking, you will need to pay a 30% deposit as per the pro-forma invoice. Banking details and the corresponding banking reference will be available on this invoice. The deposit amount on the invoice must reflect in our bank account 30 days prior to your motorcycle collection date in order to secure your booking. The balance owing amount is to be paid via a valid VISA or MASTER CARD credit card on the day of collection.
*PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS OR DINERS CLUB CARDS.
If the funds do not clear or reflect in the business bank account in the allotted time period given, Wolf Moto (PTY) Ltd reserves the right to cancel your booking and the applicable cancellation fees will be applied.
All bank transfer fees are for your account.
Any changes or additions to your initial booking after you have been invoiced, will incur an administration fee of R200. If you wish to change your entire booking to completely new dates, we will view that as a new booking and the cancellation fees will apply to the original booking.
Cancelled booking fees:
- Up to 30 days prior to the rental start date: entire 30% deposit
- 29 to 15 days prior to the rental start date: 50% of the rental costs
- 14 to 8 days prior to the rental start date: 75% of the rental costs
- 7 to 0 days prior to the rental start date: 100% of the rental costs
GROUP TRAVEL REGULATIONS:
Tour participants who do not comply with the traffic laws and general tour guidelines set out by Wolf Moto (PTY) Ltd for safe riding procedures will have his/her riding privileges suspended immediately and the motorcycle will be removed from the offending rider.
Traffic fines incurred are to be paid in full by the rider responsible for the ticketed traffic violation.
Weather conditions can change dramatically during the course of a guided tour. Participants are to be aware of possible inclement weather. Wolf Moto (PTY)Ltd cannot be held liable for changing weather conditions and NO refunds will be made for these unforeseeable weather conditions.
Weather that is unconducive to motorcycle riding at the morning start of any 1-2 day guided tour will force the tour to be postponed. Booked tours will be rescheduled however if a guided tour cannot be rescheduled for any reason whatsoever, a full refund will be given.
Wolf Moto (PTY) Ltd shall not be held accountable or responsible for any accidents, illnesses, deaths, thefts or any other damage to your person or personal effects which occur during the tour, even if this leads to shortening your tour and/or extra costs are incurred for you. Any unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to war, illnesses, quarantine, weather, riots and other unforeseen reasons beyond the control of Wolf Moto (PTY) Ltd and the consequences are for your own account. Wolf Moto (PTY) Ltd shall not be held liable in any way for any of these possible occurrences or any consequences, which may arise as a result of these. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you waive all rights to persecute us, either under South African law or any other international law.
